Louth and District branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) celebrates and promotes real ales, ciders and perries together with those Pubs, Clubs and other outlets that sell it.

Our area covers the postal districts of LN11, LN12 and LN13, plus the Heneage Arms, Heneage, the White Hart, Tetford and the White Hart Ludford.
We have about 115 members with whom we keep in contact, mainly by e-mail and every two months at a local pub for our branch meetings. Some members and friends join in the coach trips from Louth to surrounding Pubs and in the same way, members and friends organise and run the annual Louth CAMRA Beer Festival.
The 20th Louth Beer Festival will be held at the Kings Head Hotel from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th October 2016.
We are a friendly bunch from all walks of life who welcome new members because we are helping our local pubs to keep in business and support our community.

The Campaign for Real Ale is a consumer organisation that successfully saved traditional cask-conditioned beers from extinction in the UK and now has 175,000-plus members who provide the political strength to protect our pubs and breweries against unfair treatment from taxes, developers, pub companies (pubcos) and other such threats.

CAMRA's official web guide to all known UK Real Ale outlets is www.whatpub.com and the best of these are selected by members votes to go into the annual CAMRA Good Beer Guide.
MEMBERSHIP costs £26.00 a year (direct-debit £24.00, concessions under 26 and over 60 £16.50 dd) and provides £20.00 worth of J D Wetherspoon real ale vouchers, 10% discount at Hoseasons, Cottages4you and Beer Hawk and a monthly newspaper and quarterly magazine that are well worth reading.
